A new gallery experience awaits you each month with a select artist showcase at Starring "The Gallery". The first Friday of every month Starring "The Gallery" participates in the First Friday Experience when downtown Northville galleries keep their doors open late exhibiting talent by local artists in various art mediums.
Bring your friends and make a night of it! Downtown Northville boasts more than 40 shops and boutiques, many staying open late during the First Friday Experience. More than 20 eateries - everything from a casual, quick bite to eat to the extraordinary restaurants serving gourmet dinners complete with a wine list and white table cloths - are also open just waiting to serve you.
The First Friday Experience takes place throughout the entire year. Shop - Dine - Experience Downtown Northville.
August Exhibit: Starring "The Gallery" Welcomes Christine Moser.
Artist Statement: I truly do favor painting with acrylic since it gives me the ability to simply and quickly transform my thoughts and ideas onto canvas. This way I can really focus upon the moment of my inspiration.
I like venturing out to different painting mediums for example: coffee, metal or sand. This allows me to give my art work more three-dimensional effects and depth. Nothing inspires me more than the starkness of an empty wall; for I know I can give it life. That’s my true calling . . . let the transformation begin.
Creating art gives me deep fulfillment and joy. As an artist, I strive for the viewer of my paintings, to feel and visualize the simplistic beauty that I bring forth in my work.
Enjoy the sounds of local vocalist, Sheila Landis, and guitarist, Rick Matle as they entertain you with their love of Brazilian music.
Also returning to the Gallery is Charlie Patricolo and her one-of-a-kind dolls.
Charlie has been making dolls for over forty years and seriously for the past 16. Her sole purpose for this work is to spread smiles and joy.
